When you have a domain name, you can start using it with your website. The name is given to the server which will identify the server for a specific domain.
Router
This is the part of the computer which is responsible for connecting different devices and managing the internet connection. It will give a direct access to any device connected to it. For example, if you are working on a laptop, you will connect it to the router through a network cable and then you will get an IP address. Now, when you are connected to the internet, you can use the internet easily. You just need to connect a smartphone or a tablet to this router and you will get a wifi connection.
